Surgical Services Manager
The Director of Perioperative Services is a Registered Nurse responsible and accountable on a 24-hour basis for the day-to-day oversight of
activities in the Operating Room, Recovery Room, GI Lab, Pain Management and the Ambulatory Short Stay Surgery Unit. Is responsible for the planning, design, direction, integration and coordination and improvement of clinical, management, governance and support processes for assigned units within the mission, vision and philosophy and values established for the department and the facility. Demonstrates ability to develop and implement standards and assure appropriate systems implementation for performance monitoring, performance improvement, inventory and PAR levels and customer satisfaction as it relates to physicians, patients, and other department personnel. Is responsible for interviewing, hiring, counseling and termination of personnel. Participates in ongoing evaluations of the staff members and provision of clinical/administrative leadership to guide patient care delivery, patient flow and unit operations and supplies for service.
Current and valid RN licensure in the State of California.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS required.
Minimum 5 years prior experience in patient care services
A minimum of 5 years recent experience as a Nursing Director in an acute care facility preferred.
AORN member preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
