We currently have opportunities at Ironwood State Prison located in Blythe. This friendly desert community is an outdoor recreational wonderland, with access to almost 95 miles of navigable water for boating, fishing, and water skiing and 350 days of sunshine to enjoy golfing, tennis, and hiking. The upscale enclaves of La Quinta, Palm Desert, and Palm Springs make an attractive home base for many of Ironwood State Prisons physicians and their families.

Special Requirements
Current Nurse Practitioner Furnishing certificate issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
Current board certification issued by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
